Living in Australia is great.

I mean, how many countries are completely devoid of terrorism threats, have freedom of speech in a democratic society, and have world-renowned icons left right and center? (no pun intended). There is but ONE downfall:

NO UPCOMING GAME EVER HAS A SET, RELIABLE RELEASE DATE.

Quite frankly, I'm considering moving to Japan JUST so I can buy the goddamn games I want when they come out.

On my list at the moment? Crisis Core.
The object of my utmost desire - ~~so close~~, yet SO far. It's just out of reach.

eBay seems like the sensible option here, but okaasan thinks otherwise, and shuns the internet and online shopping in general. It took my weeks to get a subscription of DeviantArt because the woman wouldn't relinquish her Mastercard to Paypal. It's RELIABLE, most of the time. ~~Almost always~~. Usually.

I'm wary myself, but this is the one time I would give out my credit card details (rather, my mum's) just to get this game.

I've been waiting since the middle of last year, for Shiva's sake!

For once, I'd like the Australian release date to be set, secure and SOON. None of this vague shit, ie "sometime in Spring" or ballpark dates like "1/3/2008" which was BULLSHIT. E'scuse my potty mouth, but that's what it was. So far we've had 3 or 4 release dates, and every time my friend and I run to all the game stores (EB, Game, JB etc) it's not there. And we trudge to McDonald's dejectedly and eat sundaes and angst the hours away. I actually cried last time.

Sigh. I digress. The next release date - and for Shiva's sake, let it be the last one - is the first of June. 1/2/2008, 2/1/2008, 1st of June, whatever way you like - it better be the real one. Because if I preorder it and it doesn't come out that day?

So help me God, hell will reign down upon this country and I will summon some maddeningly frightful creature to wreak havoc in Sydney and surrounding suburbs. Satan will cower in his whorehouse and not even God will be able to put a leash on me.
